University of the Nations (UofN)

The University of the Nations is the international training institution of Youth with a Mission. The UofN sees itself as a multiplier for missions, and trains people for service in different spheres of society. Deepening of one's personal relationship with God and character building are important components of the various courses offered in different languages in over 160 nations. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an entry-level prerequisite for all other courses of the ten different colleges.

All of YWAM Wiler's  full-time schools are registered within the modular education system of the UofN.

At YWAM Wiler it is possible to pursue an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies or a Fundational Associate of Arts:

 

Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies

Students holding an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies are trained in accurately handling the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). They learn the skills of various forms of inductive Bible study to discover the biblical author's intent through understanding the grammatical, historical and literary context.

You can earn an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies at YWAM Wiler by successfully completing the following schools:

  • DTS – Discipleship Training School incl. Field Assignment of 8-12 weeks  (DSP 211 / DSP 212)
  • SBS – School of Biblical Studies (CHR 213 / CHR 315 / CHR 316)
  • SBS Field Assignment of 8 weeks (CHR 214)
  • SBCW – School of Biblical Christian Worldview (HMT/SCI 213)
  • SBCW Field Assignment of 4 weeks (HMT/SCI 214)

 or

  • DTS – Discipleship Training School incl. Field Assignment of 8-12 weeks  (DSP 211 / DSP 212)
  • SBS – School of Biblical Studies (CHR 213 / CHR 315 / CHR 316)
  • SBS Field Assignment of 8 weeks (CHR 214)
  • SBCW – School of Biblical Christian Worldview (HMT/SCI 213)
  • BLS – Basic Leadership School (CHR 145 & 146)

 

We grant students pursuing an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies at YWAM Wiler a reduction of school fee.  Please contact us, if you are interested.

 

Pastoral Assistant

Become a Pastoral Assistant in less than two years. The degree (Fundational Associate of Arts) will guarantee you a theoretical and practical education to work as pastoral assistant, employee in a church or even church leader. It requires a post graduate program after a completed Discipleship Training School (DTS) in 60 to 80 weeks.

  • Internships in an international church or ministry (4-24 Credits)
  • BLS - Basic Leadership School 1 & 2 (CHR 145 & 146) (12 Credits)
  • WLC - Worldview Leadership Course / Practicum (CHR 145) (8 Credits)
  • Field Assignments (0-8 Credits)
    SBS Field Assignment (SCI 214) or Basic Leadership School 2 (CHR 146)

Partner of YWAM Wiler Training Center

The International Seminary and Training center of Leadership (ISTL) is a training partner of YWAM Wiler Training Center. Full-time YWAM Wiler schools are accredited with the ISTL.  ISTL uses the Bologna Guidelines of Study to determine transferrable credits.
