The Couples DTS is all about helping you discover your identity.
We believe that a healthy marriage is a partnership that grows in four directions at the same time:
1. Personal Foundation—My Identity in God
A strong marriage doesn’t begin with “us,” but with the Creator. Only when I know who I am in God’s eyes and find peace in Him can I relate to my partner without the pressure of expectations. In this phase, you’ll examine your personal relationship with God, your history, and your own identity.
How does my marriage change when I seek my deepest fulfillment and affirmation first in God rather than expecting it from my partner?
2. Partnership with God—Our Shared Source
1+1=3: the conscious partnership as a couple with the Creator. When you learn to invite God into your daily lives as the third party in your covenant, your relationship gains a foundation that goes beyond your own strength.
How does our life change, when we view God not only as a goal, but as an active, shared partner in our marriage?
3. Marriage: a growing Partnership – The Two of Us
This is about the “we” in everyday life: communication, intimacy and understanding one another. We create space for you to nurture your partnership, resolve conflicts, and deepen your friendship with one another.
How can we build a partnership in which both of us flourish and we help each other grow into our true purpose?
4. Together for the World—Our Mission
Your marriage is a gift—not only for you, but also for others. We will explore how you can combine your gifts as a team to bring God’s love into the world. Your partnership will become a blessing to those around you.

Please note: There is both a minimum & maximum number of couples that we are able to take for this school in order for it to be the best possible experience for you.
This specific school is specially designed for couples without children (yet). If you are a family with children and are interested in doing a DTS there are some amazing Family DTS’s running in a number of locations around the world. We would be very happy to recommend them to you!

Lecture Phase
The lecture phase is spanned over 11 weeks at our base @YWAM Wiler. During that time our guestspeakers (often couples) from all over the world will teach various powerful & practical topics.
The schedule creates opportunities for you to process what God is doing in you and your life.
The schedule also includes marriage nights, romantic date nights and many opportunities to interact, work and grow together as a couple by applying what you are learning.
Couples DTS teachings include topics like:

- Holy Spirit & Hearing God’s Voice
- Identity
- Marriage
- Biblical Worldview
- Missions & Evangelism
Gabriel & Léonie
Outreach
After an inspiring and challenging lecture phase, you will be involved in the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned. These 2 months will bring you out of your comfort zone and provide chances to serve nationally or abroad, preach the gospel, help those in need and share God's love. Evangelism will take on many forms.
Finalization
After the outreach, we will have two weeks to process & share what we have experienced.
As a couple, you will talk about visions, dreams and plans regarding your next steps.
Application and further information
University of the Nations
The DTS is accredited with the University of the Nations (UofN). A successfully completed DTS (DSP 211 / DSP 212 ) is a prerequisite to all other UofN training schools, degree programs and to work long term with YWAM as well.

The school is bilingual: English/German.
Insurance
The government requires that each of our students have medical health insurance as well as accident and liability insurance which are valid in Switzerland for the duration of their stay. Further information about those mandatory insurances you find here.
