English Learning for Missions (ELM)

Then our ELM Program is just what you’ve been looking for.
The EML is a 3-month intensive program that uses a variety of approaches and learning styles to help you improve your English. You’ll not only be learning in a classroom setting, but you’ll be immersed in an international environment where English is all around you and you’ll learn to communicate in everyday situations. Whatever your current level may be, you’ll make significant progress and have a lot of fun doing it.
The program is designed to help you:
- gain confidence in speaking, reading & writing in English.
- be prepared and equipped to serve God in an English-speaking/International context.
- be able to communicate more effectively in your ministry.
- get to know God better in and through the process of language learning.

Costs
CHF 3`850 lecture phase incl. food and housing. (CHF 3`600 for long-term missionaries)
Scholarships may be granted for students who come from developing nations and can`t afford their tuition. The reduction can be up to CHF 1’280. However, we can`t guarantee any scholarship during the application process.

Insurance
The government requires that each of our students have medical health insurance, as well as accident and liability insurance which are valid in Switzerland for the duration of their stay. Further information about those mandatory insurances you find here.
